the making of a family portrait

For Thanksgiving, all of my extended family traveled to Arizona to be with my grandparents. It had been a few years since we were all in the same place at the same time, so I declared it would a good time for a family picture. (Easier said than done.)

we chose the place and had about 15 minutes to attempt a good picture before Matt & I had to get on the road and go to the airport.

Here was the process:




And here's the final product - not too bad, except Matt is slightly covering grandma's face, but it's the only one that Hannah is not a blur in.
