Uncle Dan led the baptism asking questions of us, the congregation and our family & friends:
Then Matt baptized her (since the God's love is overflowing, so was the water on Hannah's head):
Finally, we handed Hannah over to Dan and he prayed for her life and her faith. (This was when she got a little wiggly and loud.)
Hannah stayed with us in the service afterward and enjoyed clapping along to the music!
Together with family and our church we pledged to nurture Hannah's faith so that she can live out her baptism. We want you to be a part of this too!

ReplyDeletewe set the camera on a timer and took the picture. matt had seen a similar type picture a year ago. we couldn't get Hannah's feet to stay still and Matt's are covering mine - but I thought it was representative of our family all the same! glad you like it!
